My research has two related strands:
- Rhetoric of science, focusing on public science communication
- Writing pedagogy, with a special interest in applying insights and strategies from rhetoric and composition in cross-disciplinary contexts
My work spans Boyer’s categories (discovery, synthesis, application, and teaching and learning), with a strong emphasis on synthesis and application.
